59 Traveller was born from a passion for golf and decades of experience in the travel industry. With three decades of building golf travel expertise, we now bring together broader know-how and networks – starting a new chapter that takes Finnish golfers to the finest destinations and experiences around the world. We focus on premium packages, themed group trips, and bespoke experiences.

59 Traveller was founded by Markku “Luigi” Nord and Henry Lahtonen, who together have decades of experience in travel and the golf sector. Joining them as a partner is Mikko Korhonen, one of Finland’s most successful professional golfers and a two-time DP World Tour winner.

The brand’s story was inspired by The 59 Fund, which Mikko established to support young and promising Finnish professional golfers. The fund organizes annual events and has already raised over €300,000 to support young players – this work continues under Mikko’s leadership.

Henry Lahtonen has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry, both in B2B and B2C, with a focus on golf-related events, partnerships, and international travel projects.

Markku “Luigi” Nord is recognized as a pioneer of Finnish golf tourism, with his work acknowledged both nationally and internationally. He has been awarded as Finland’s Best Golf Tour Operator multiple times, won the IAGTO Outstanding Service Award, and in 2024 received the Finnish Golf Union’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
